Are you #100blocksfinished ??
Oh my goodness it’s been a little crazy around here, I’ve been sewing up a storm. Just recently I have put together my 100 blocks into a completed quilt top. Now for the quilting. I have a plan, do you?
It’s hard to imagine months ago this idea would become one of the largest Instagram sew-alongs I have ever seen and that would not be without you sewing along. It’s been so exciting to see all the blocks being made and now being sewn together. In a funny way I feel really proud of everyone who has completed their blocks and the quilts we’ve seen so far. It’s just awesome to see the response to the #100days100blocks and now the #100blocksfinished.
So I need to let you know a bit more about the Finish Along for our quilts.
Lisa from Sweet Little Pretties and I are hosting the finishing component of the #100day100blocks sew along.
Motivating you to finish your City Sampler
– Anytime between now and the 25th January 2017 work on putting your quilt top together or completing the quilt entirely. You can share pictures of your quilt top and progress over the next 8 days.
– Use the hashtags #100days100blocks and #100blocksfinished alongside sponsor hashtags detailed below. Your picture will need all hashtags and you need to follow all 4 sponsors and 2 hosts.
There are 3 categories for finishing the quilt
✂️Finished quilt top (flimsy)
✂️Completed quilt (all the way to the binding)
✂️Viewer’s choice.
– Post a picture of your completed quilt top or quilt between the 16th and the 25th January 2017.
– We will choose the winners for the 2 categories and you are able to have your say and vote for the Viewer’s choice by liking other participants completed Quilt photos. Search using the hashtag #100blocksfinished.
