We love teaching face to face and are finally getting some classes and workshops scheduled.
If you are keen to come and learn with us, we’ve added the current class offerings to our shop and we would love to have you join us.
Class dates and times
Multiples of any classes are listed with the date of the class so be sure to check that before booking/purchasing. You can book more than one class at a time.
Currently we have scheduled workshops on a Wednesday evening or a Thursday morning. This is what works around our family schedule at the moment.
There is a minimum number of booking required for the class to run, there is also a maximum number per class.
Should a class need to be postponed, you are able to have your class fee transferred to another class date, or you can enquire about a refund if the future class times do not suit.
Bring Learn Create – This is a workshop style class where you bring your projects and have concentrated time to work on them, with the added benefit of having someone (Me!) to help you with any tricky or challenging parts. Set up your machine, sew, sew and sew some more.
eginner FMQ – Join me and learn the basics of Free Motion Quilting. This class is suitable for those who have never tried FMQ, or have dabbled a little bit. We will cover the basic shapes of quilting and how we can build on those and create variations. Class runs over 2 sessions, Wednesday evenings; 7-9.30pm, 6th and 20th September 2023, or Thursday mornings; 9.30-12.30pm, 7th and 21st September 2023
Binding Basics – Binding, love it or not, it’s one of the final steps in completing a quilt. Come and learn with me as we walk through the process of binding a quilt, start to finish, in detail.
We are developing an intermediate FMQ class, so we can take quilting to the next level, a beginner quilting class is a possibility, zippers in 3 ways, a binding variations class, plus some online classes you can do whenever suits you.
As classes are developed, they will be scheduled as time permits. We are also happy to have class requests submitted via email.
See you in class.
