Creative Round Up #1
Over the Christmas holidays and my time off from quilting, I made a concentrated effort to sew some projects that have been hovering in the studio for some time.
Here are the highlights for this round up. I hope you see something that might inspire you to complete a project.
Pictures of my creativity
- Christmas Bunting as a gift for a friend, made from a panel and cut out, binding used to sew the top edge
- Random Blocks trimmed and sewn into a quilt top (Blocks donated to me)
- Green Binding made from smaller pieces ready for the Green HST baby quilt, (Blocks and fabric donated to me)
- Table napkins from leftover fabric, same fabric as the Random Blocks, perfect for napkins, some were pieced to make them all roughly the same size
- Christmas tree napkins that were already cut out, just needed sewing
- 2 mini quilts, for my tea area to help catch any spills, used some strips of Liberty fabric I was given
- Fiji hearts, more to come on this one
As many of you know when you sew, people give you stuff. I find it really hard to throw such things away, thinking, I’ll finish that and give it away when it’s done and can be used and loved.
That all takes time right!?
So I put on some movies or music and I sewed. I now have various prejects completed, or at least ready to quilt.

I hope you’ve had time to be creative as well.
