Full Flock Table Quilt Pattern

A quilt for your table made from the fabric range ‘Taking Flight’ by Amanda Brandl, released march 2018

36″ square.

Quick and easy to sew.  Make the most of these gorgeous prints.

This is a downloadable PDF Pattern.

During the blog tour for the release of Amanda’s new fabric range Taking Flight there have been so many gorgeous items shown, this is my contribution.

I wanted to make the most of the gorgeous prints so I have not added any other colours.  I also wanted to continue the theme of the fabric, birds and flight, so we have a variant on a flying geese block and large triangles all going in the one direction. A flock of birds wending their way across the sky.  Whilst the blocks are not symmetrical, the quilt shows off all the lovely birds and flowers in the fabric.

A few cheeky cockatoos and magpies have ended up well placed.

The quilting has filled in the solid blocks with yet more ‘flying geese’ and this completes the full flock of birds. Hence the name of this quilt.

At a manageable 36″ square this is a great size for a table centre or smaller table.  And the colours are just divine.

Pattern is free from 4-11 April 2018.
