January 2013
Now that the website and blog have been updated so I can work on them much more easily myself I really would like to share some quilts I’ve quilted this year.
Here are some quilts I worked on in January To see the pictures in larger format please click on the smaller image.
To start is a quilt Chris made for her grandson. Chris used black embroidery thread to blanket stitch all the designs, her hand work is so neat. I’m sure he is enjoying this great boy quilt.
Next are two quilts by Lynette for her Mum and Mr. E. They are the same pattern and are also quilted with the same pattern, Twofold Feathers by Lorien Quilting. Then another quilt for a grandson, Trains by Donna, quilted with Cloud Nine by Anne Bright using some fabric won at a guild meeting. Finally a quilt using some terrific Japanese fabrics and quilted using the ‘Happy Times’ pantograph by Lorien Quilting.
Well that was January, it seems such a long time ago now but I’m missing the warmth right now in Canberra, tonight is expected to go below freezing. I am quite thankful for my electric blanket, must go turn it on now.
Happy Sewing
