Welcome

Welcome to Sunflower Stitcheries.   Mum and I are pleased to bring you our designs and patterns for some stitchery items and quilts.  Many of our designs have an Australian theme, being the proud Aussies we are.  We wanted to have projects that are both functional as well as beautiful to look at.

One of our designs is a Sunflower Welcome Door Hanging.  I love having a welcome sign on my door to welcome friends and family.  Ours is made with a traditional yellow sunflower, but there are no rules and you can choose your favourite colours. This is a great way to brighten your front door.

We have so many ideas, some are ready to share with you and others are in the design stage.  Mum and I have designed a Block of the Month starting in January which will run for 5 months.  Do you like afternoon tea?  This project will make the perfect Table Topper to use when you arrange a girls afternoon tea. You will have plenty of time to complete the project for a Welcome Spring afternoon tea for next year.

Look out for the Welcome Banner BOM coming later in 2014.  Each month there will be a different button on design to reflect the new month.

But, first we have a Christmas design, a quick and easy project to decorate your table for the festive season. The Charm Pack Table Topper design will be released in December. This project can be quickly completed if I can upload it to the website quickly, you could even have it done for this Christmas.

So you don’t miss any new designs or information, please sign up to receive notification of our blog posts. When you sign up we will send you our introductory free stitchery design.  We plan to have an Inspiration Gallery where you’ll see some ideas to use this design.

Our hope is that you will find some projects here to inspire you and that you will come and visit us often.
