Honey Bee QAYG Table runner
The Honey Bee QAYG Tablerunner is available.
Wahoo! I’ve been working like a crazy thing as this should have been on our website ages ago. This design is super fun and easy and fast to make.
A gorgeous set of 7 embroidered panels and easy to make quilt as you go hexagon units are then joined to make this table centre piece. I used some extra fabric to make some coasters to match.
You can find the pattern here: Take me to the Honey Bee pattern
The Honey Bee is also the pattern we’re using in our very first Stitch Along, are you going to join us?!
We are really excited about this pattern and have been filming some tutorial to share over the 5 weeks we will take to complete our project.
Barbara has made her project with a cream linen and a bee feature fabric and the backing is a plain black. Her embroidery is done in one colour.
I have made my project from some fabric I bought on holiday and then added the yellow for a bit of extra colour. I had enough fabric that I have made some coordinating coasters for my table. I have used black thread for the embroidery but added some colour with green and yellow. The embroidered panels are easy and don’t take too long. We’re spreading out the stitching to allow for a variety of lifestyles and also so no one feels rushed. The stitch along will have 3 weeks of stitching then 2 weeks for construction.
If you would like to join in and stitch along with us all you need is your pattern and fabric choices. We will be having a weekly Stitch Along post on our Facebook page where you can share your progress, or you can share on Instagram and use the #ssqhoneybee so we can find your pictures.
Barbara is on Instagram as @sunflowerstitcheries and I am @sunflowerquilting
There will be more information coming, I just wanted to let you all know that the pattern is now available!
See this post for all the details of the Stitch Along
** The pattern will be on sale at a 20% discount until the 29th July.**
