Savannah Blog Hop

We are so excited to be joining in with the Savannah Blog Hop by Tammy Silvers of Tamarinis!

14 designers have joined forces to showcase this beautiful fabric in different ways, it’s so inspiring to see the same fabrics used to get so many different results. Jumping through the blogs, it’s sure to get the creative juices going.

This gorgeous set of fabric designs is great for those who love batiks but also love the modern colour on colour designs. If you look closely at the fabrics, you’ll see their echo of the lovely railings that adorn historic homes that can be found all across Savannah.  The colors reflect the beautiful range of stucco, brick and clapboard homes too.

With beautiful teals, pinks purples and blues – with a cheeky yellow thrown in for good measure – it was sure to be the perfect fabric to use with the harlequin hearts pattern. This version is perfect for a beginner, with square blocks simply varying in colours to get the desired effect.

This version of the Harlequin Hearts has been dubbed Savannah Heart of Gold for the use of fabric.

If you would like to check out the other designers that are joining in on this blog hop, please head on over and let them know what you think of their designs and that I sent you!
