Tower of Babel

I’m sharing a few blocks on this journey through the bible with Jen’s Jesse Tree Quilt along.

Here is my Tower of babel block.

My quilt is being made from the scrap baskets (yes that’s plural) and so there will be quirkiness abounding. I had some blues that graduated, and I liked the leaf fabric for the ‘grass’ area. I had to use 2 fabric pieces for the cloud but it worked out OK.

The sashing is being added each block so I can finish it quickly, as least that’s how I hope this will work.
